Chaldean Chronicles: Cadence of the Lostgrail

He was doing his best to follow a schedule, now that he's incorporated some other things in his life, like training and social interaction, he was currently in the middle of watching TV. Nothing live however, give the lack of humans outside of the walls of Chaldea. But he was watching some random shows. It occupied his time nicely

Mori would walk around the area till he heard a familiar scene. He would poke his head in and saw a show he hasn’t seen in years, then the person who was watching the shows changed the channel. Damn, Schooby-Doo was a good one. He was going to turn away to not bother the person till he saw something familiar about this person. “Wait…” He would say to himself in a whisper, he would move a little closer and his hunch was correct, this was Monta. The guy who helped him with his gifts for his ancestors, chiron, and Lady Akiha. He always wanted to talk with Monta but he always seemed busy, this could be his chance. Mori would slowly walk towards the couch. “Umm, Cool if I sit?”

It was that new version of Scooby Doo at that. The one with the punk rock song that was catchy to him. Which was Monta was doing right now. Now then he did stop once someone spoke up to him and ask if they could sit as well. Which Monta granted. Nodding his head for the other to join.

Mori would give him a kind smile and sat at the end of the couch, as to not get too close and make the crafter uncomfortable. Mori has not watched shows he seen as a child due to the church being strict, but this would bring back memories of a sweeter time. “So do you watch this to relive old memories or just bored?” He asked the legend while watching the show with him, he would keep focus on the screen. He doubt Monta would remember helping him with the gifts but at least they can know each other now.

"I suppose the former after all this show was around even before the whole eradication of humanity. I suppose I'm just clinging on to whatever past remains in my memories." He gave his answer before speaking up. "And you all gifts accounted for and enjoyed? I put in a considerable effort for Ushiwakamaru." It looks like he remembers. That was good.

Mori would be delighted to hear that, both the answer and that someone he saw so many faces and worked on many projects remembered something as small as him and the commission he made. “Great Ancestor Ushiwakamaru loved the gift, and uses it to this day. I sadly haven’t found Chiron or Lady Akiha yet but I’m sure they’ll love it too. After all, you’re the best amongst the best.” A few seconds. “Thank you Monta, I am thankful for you help.” He would stand and bow to Monta as he said the last part, then went back to watching the show. “I wish to someday pay you back, something more than money.”

"I am the best simply by dutiful nature, I suppose it is safe to say that I am commited to crafting by nature." He said as he turned his gaze from the screen and to Mori. "I'm here to help the other members of Chaldea improve. You are welcome."

“When I was young, I always liked to tinker around with things. Breaking things then putting them together just to see how they work, but with the church it was hard to find hobbies. Maybe someday you can teach me how to be as good as you.” He would look back at Monta, he wanted to be useful and Monta is one of the most renowned people in the organization, maybe with his help he can get closer to being the him he wants to be. “I want to do the same, however for me to do that I need to improve as well.”

"Huh? You want to improve yourself in crafting?" He asked Mori as he was in thought. "As said before, it takes some commitment and devotion to the tool and the craft itself. I have been doing so for a long time now, regardless of my age."

“I want to improve myself in general, crafting could help me help others when I’m not as strong as I can be. I want to widen my field and better myself in ways I can only imagine.” He would sound determined, like he knew this is what he wanted to do and he won’t back down on self improvement. “I think I can do it, if I managed to out up with the church for this long. Crafting shouldn’t be out of my reach.”

Mori would give a thumbs up and a wide innocent smile, he was happy to know Monta has his back and willing to teach him crafting. Hopefully he can use this skill in the future to advance himself. “For me confidence is not that hard, it is just up to how strong my resolve is. But I’ll make you proud, and great ancestor.”

Lounge area. A place for Servants to rest. And the dog over here was rather jittery. Annoyed, even. He's been practicing on his own, but he hasn't been able to really feel like he can surpass others. And with everyone focused on the singularity (and her master already diving in it with another team), he's just lazying about in the lounge to forget about those issues. Because training isn't the solution to anything, duh. It's pure talent! That's the Okada Izo way. He'll definitely manage to surpass Artoria by...I don't know, sheer osmosis or something.

@Okada Izō, Manslayer (@Sky_ | [NPC] | Sal [9] Walp [14]) - jump Jack seemingly vanished from the scene, the shadow of her fading...Before immediately appearing behind him. He could feel a cold dagger on his back. "Hello..."

It's rather terrifying the way she just vanished and easily found him. Even more how close the dagger is. The other Assassin instinctively reacts by rolling to his side out of the couch and yelping in surprise. "G-gah! Shit!" Bad words, Izo. "I guess you got me...?" The questioning tone is really apparent, as the self-styled invincible manslayer didn't expect anyone to see through his Presence Concealment.

"SHIT!" Jack exclaimed, following Okada's shocked tone. Almost as if the assassin was a parrot, she then leapt up from under the couch. She then let out a playful giggle...Despite the ominous aura surrounding her.

At that moment, someone else entered the lounge, following the trail of her servant's mana shown to her through their contract link. Looking around as she walked in from the door, Petra approached where she could sense Jack's position, announcing herself with a happy wave once she got close. "There you are, Jack! Oh, and who's this?"

Poor Izo is still processing in his head what Jack managed to do. With a new voice sliding into the scene, he'd rather focus on that one than the Servant. "Uh, me?" Izo raises his brow slightly. "I'm Okada Izo." He stands from the floor, patting the dust off his clothes. "You're in charge of this kid?"

"MUMMY!" Jack exclaimed, the menacing aura fading in an instant. Jack's daggers vanished as she leapt into Petra's arms. Even so, Izo could likely gather that Jack WASN'T a good person, assassin class servants rarely were. Jack let out a small giggle, if one were to listen closely near Jack. The howls of the many children crying out could be heard as whispers around her.

"You could say that, I summoned her, and she immediately, well, adopted herself to me. But as you probably saw by now, she's not just a kid, at the least..." Patting Jack's head as she caught the Assassin midleap, Petra attempted a polite curtsy even as her servant hugged onto her. "Nice to meet you, Okada Izo, my name is Petra Rosalie Altland. Call me Petra though~ Are you getting along?"

Okada Izo wasn't really looking forward to hearing the screams of the damned today. With his eyes slightly narrowing, he answers as he always do. "Yeaaah. No shit." With not an ounce of tact. "And...I guess? We were apparently playing Hide and Seek." ("Though I don't remember getting A KNIFE ON MY BACK when I was a kid...") He quietly complains in his thoughts.

"Mummy is ours forever, we'll do anything for mummy. We want to...Skin someone with mummy! ♡" Jack's tone was so indifferent, she didn't care if flaying someone was immensely deadly and painful, to her; death was like stepping on a flower. She just didn't care. Her priority was always Petra. Jack held onto Petra with an almosy protective nature as she smiled. "Mummy plays with us! What shall we play next?" She asked, her pupils expanding like that of an excited cat.

Izo's lips flatten at her claims. It's not that he's some sort of pure-minded idiot appalled at such outrageous claims, —he knew a bunch of psychos back in the capital— but the fact that it's coming from what he assumes is a kid is sort of... grating. "Do you still want me to play with you?" He asks, quizzically.

"Ah..." Silently apologizing to Izo internally, Petra attempted to get more control of the situation instead. "We can't skin someone today, but let's play...more hide and seek! Hm, I'm not sure anyone can escape you, and we can find each other easily, so how about Okada tries finding us both? Then we can think of something else." She smiled enthusiastically, taking Jack over to the couch in the meantime and seating herself.

The manslayer scratches the back of his head. ("I guess I'm stuck in this now...") At least it's not annoying if it's with a pretty lady. "Alright, alright, geez... I'll give you a few seconds to hide, then?"

"WE LOVE HIDE AND GO SEEK!" Jack exclaimed, singing "ring around the rosies" as she tried to find a new hiding place. She decided to use invisibility on herself, becoming a ghost. Skulking about as she stood right behind Okada, chuckling loudly.

Petra herself darted away quickly but saw little to hide with in the seconds she had, so ducking behind some furniture nearby, she applied a blurring spell to herself, making her less visible at the least.

With his sharp senses, he manages to find Petra with more ease than expected. "That's quite the trick, missy, but it ain't a match for my eye." He shows a shit-eating grin as he brags. "Now, where's that kid...?" The assassin begins to wander and look through every nook and cranny of the room.

Izo manages to turn at the last second to answer Jack's surprise attack —he knew it was coming from a mile away— but instead of knocking her away with his hilt he managed to get his face headbutted in. "AUGH F—" Izo doesn't get to yelp more, as he drops to the ground, annoyed and defeated.

Izo rolls his eyes. "Yeah, as if I'd let myself get killed by some kid. A manslayer, like me!" He scoffs, crossing his arms. "Besides, she's probably an Assassin too, isn't she? What gives?" Okada gives a suspicious look towards Jack.

"Jack is sorry, please accept our apologies!" Jack, quickly realising her mistake would bow her head and offer her dagger. "You may hurt us with equal pain back."

Izo, the irritable hitman, gets a bit more irritated. "Are you tryin' to mock me?" He seems like he'd burst at any second now. ...Still, he just pinches the bridge of his nose with annoyance. "Ugh, no, push that away." He swats the air in front of them. "Honor ain't worth shit, a kid shouldn't be doing that." (edited)

"Did we do good mummy?" Jack quickly turned to face Petra, unsure if she did an apology right. Knowing only the basics of human interaction as if she was some kind of robot learning about humans.

"Ah, you shouldn't underestimate anyone that easily..." Giving Izo a chiding smirk, Petra turned to her servant. "Nope! That's not how you apologize for something like this. He doesn't want to make things fair, he wants you to show him that you won't do anything like that again. Can you agree to that, Jack?"

"We promise never to do it again!" Jack quickly bellowed to the servant, sounding more like an army private than a child as she raised her voice.

The man sighs. "Yeah, yeah. Alright." He remains sitting down, looking at the pair. "So, Jack? How come you're an assassin?"

"We are made up of fetuses that were killed by our old mummies on the london bridge. They threw us off...They never even gave us a chance to live." Jack seemed to be tensing up, feeling as if she was wronged by the women who killed the fetuses that made the hateful Jack..

"Hey, hold on! Don't fight here... Take this outside, or to the simulation room. " Admittedly curious to see how it would go herself, Petra still stepped between the two with a firm look. "If this room gets messed up, it's your masters who'll be blamed."

"...Hrm." Izo drew his sword back on its holster. "...Fine. Well, if the kid wants to fight, just give me a call." He replies, a smug grin growing further. "Or Touko. Either way, I'm gonna win that match." Taking the bottle he had carried to the room, he gets ready to walk away. "Guess it was nice to meet you two."

Arriving with Castoria close behind, the lady having shown herself quite interested in every sight they passed to the point the walk there took somewhat longer than it would have been, Sheba opened the door and walked in, leaving it open for the Caster as she followed. "What do you think? There's a decent selection of games and activities here, or just a place to unwind."

"What's this...Thing?" Castoria asked, pointing to the pool table. She was just enjoying listening to Sheba talk; it was quite soothing.

"Oh, that's called a billiards table, I think? You play on it with these sticks, but that's all I know." Walking over, she toyed with one of the cue sticks, keeping an eye on Castoria at the same time, quickly seeing she was only half listening. "Hm... If it's not too much to ask, were you lonely in your own life?"

I mean, I had Oberon...But I don't think a true friend teaches you how to break locks...I don't even think he's my friend..." She could tell in her voice Castoria JUST realised this as her face fell. "Sorry...Sorry" She began to pick up the cue, playfully trying to hit balls with the wrong end.

Sheba turns to her with a warm but serious look. "You're too obvious. Clingy, unstable, easily affected by praise... You just met me and you're already hanging onto my every word like treasure, aren't you? Someone who's been by themselves long enough that they're flirting with dependence. And you're talking about a thief, most likely... What kind of life have you had? No, that's no matter." She lifts a cue herself, lightly tapping at one of the balls. "This is a new life for you, after all. But as you are... Here, watch. Reaching out to people needs a measured approach, whether in business or just to spend time with others. You need to identify your goal, and use the right angle, approach, and amount of force." Saying this, she casually shot one of the balls into a nearby hole. "Then things will move as you intend them more often. But without doing that..." Sheba forcefully jabbed the stick blindly at the table, sending balls ricocheting wildly all over. "To say you will rarely achieve your goal is an understatement. Things may even fly out of control... Miss Artoria, I barely know you, and you seem to be ramming ahead to land a score. I would like to get to know you, but you need to learn an approach with at least the right measure of force." Taking the cue and turning it around the right way in her hands, she gave Castoria an encouraging nod. "Shall we try to figure out this game?"

Castoria stared....Having a slight mental breakdown internally as Sheba broke her down to her worst components for a second. She then listened to the rest, though remained very much quiet. Moreso out of uncertainty on how to respond, never having the subject brought up to her. She nodded as she spun it around correctly, standing near Sheba as she mimicked the movements Sheba did just moments before, hitting the white ball but sending it off the table.

The man... Was giving everything he could to this dance. He seemed as serious about it as he would be on a hunt. Step to the left, step to the right. He was a bit rusty, but... No matter. With that Aphrodite swooped in, pulling an arm on the man's back and pushing him back- taking the male role in the dance with a chuckle for a moment before finally... Was this how she felt? It was certainly unpleasant... It didn't justify what she did, but he could at least empathise a little more.

So far Leonardo's stay at Chaldeas seemed to be one large ordeal after the other with very little time to rest and reflect on everything. It was only his first day there and already he had managed to enter a contract with a large Knight claiming herself to be Ser Gawain of Arthur's round table, though he mostly did this out of fear of what would happen if he were to decline. That and he certainly couldn't question her strength, though asking for her to cook his dinner would be a death sentence. Regardless, the magus was glad to finally have some peace of mind for once as the lounge area looked relatively unoccupied. Thus he quickly set up his tea set and decided to finally make some progress on reading his book before another army of Nemo Marines decided to barge in and break the silence. "Perhaps it isn't so bad..." He mumbled to himself slowly mixing in the herbs and being careful not to spill hot water everywhere. "Most masters probably spend weeks before they find a servant who wants to contract with them. Guess my natural charm proves itself once again fufu."

As his eyes scanned the room, he would find that it is not entirely unoccupied. A beautiful young adult woman with almost divine like beauty can be seen sitting on a luxurious throne. Her left leg on her right leg. Ocean blue eyes, long silk like white hair. And a staff on her left hand, and the other was a book. A book regarding world history of British History from the title of it. Her eyes scanned every word methodically and slowly. As if gathering every bit of information she could get her hands on. She carried the authority of royalty, much like similar to his despite not having said a single word. This is the aura she gives out that would make ordinary ones already shaking in their boots to approach even. It was like as if a heavy anchor was dropped into one's back.

He hadn't quite noticed the company when he first sat down, only upon reaching for the kettle did he notice the pale white wisps of her hair out of the corner of his eye. He gave her quite some attention then, not due to her otherworldly looks necessarily, but mostly due to the sheer pressure she was giving off. He could tell this was the air carried by one who would inherit the world. Though unlike his which eased others into letting down their guard, this one was seemingly more...oppressive. At first, he thought it would be a wise idea to leave immediately though showing cowardice was a quality ill-befitting of a King. Rather he cleared his throat and continued pouring his tea. "Apologies if I'm interrupting your reading, but it would be poor manners for me to prepare tea and not offer everyone else in the room any. It's far from the highest quality, but I can certainly pour you a cup if you want." He said trying his best to somehow lighten the atmosphere even if it ultimately turned out to be a vain effort.

It seemed that this was slowly turning into a battle between their respective authority, despite likely neither side intending it to be. This pressure was still rather intense, although Leo didn't detect any hostility from the servant upon addressing her. "Not a problem, do you take sugar in your tea or just black?" He asked not showing any immediate signs of fear and keeping a rather affable personality for the time being. Her politeness was certainly appreciated given the company he ran into only a few hours prior, though it was more likely than not she was just being formal. "I see you're reading up on your history. Britain surely has quite a storied one with the many fallen kingdoms and conquests it has undergone over the past few millennia." He noted considering the fact most of it was drilled into his mind since childhood. A long history of monarch and tyrants who either rose or fell due to a great number of succession wars. He wondered just how much interest Gawain held about her own country's history. For that matter... "Any particular piece of it that's caught your interest? Apologies but I'm rather fond of discussing certain parts of British history with others." He said still trying to keep up his friendly demeanor, though knowing her perspective on ruling did draw the heir's curiosity a little.

Rather important decisions were handled by several parties before being passed into any kind of law or legislature. He was very well aware of this being assigned to the Policy Department of the Clocktower where even there several families had joined differing factions based on their beliefs. "Indeed while many monarchies of today still exist, they no longer hold absolute power over their domains as they once did in the past." It's more likely that they became increasingly more cautious of the people they held power over. One person's views of the future will never really settle into the hearts of everyone after all. The Ruler will either have to silence the vocal opposition and become a tyrant, or let them carry on and risk being overthrown one day." He wasn't sure if it was appropriate to ask the woman's identity quite yet, though it was quite easy to ascertain that she was likely a monarch herself and perhaps tied into the history of Britain. "The land and its people are like a powerful yet wild beast. One can certainly try to tame it and claim that power for themselves but they are usually the first to get killed once it craves freedom yet again."

Her tone remained respectful, yet monotone. She'll believe Kiara for now, a Master being this similar to a Servant is not something impossible here in Chaldea, after all.

With her territory mostly quiet now that the Ireland of the singularity was mostly under Chaldea's control, or at least having had the Lords and their cults driven away, along with her wanting a Caster to potentially reinforce the fortress she'd taken, Hime had returned to the main facility for now. As she went about looking for available Casters or something to entertain herself with, she passed Baba storming off from the lounge. Entering herself out of curiosity, she looked around at the strange scene. Attempting to speak, however, she found herself forcibly mute. Telepathy was an option, but... She was a bit too prideful to let herself be restricted like that.

The title of the book was one he loved as a kid. Something he read every now and again to keep himself sane. Having returned from her mission, Theano spent about three days straight since simply working away at the workshop. However even this process had parts she could do little about to speed up, such as right now... She still needed more of her own blood to infuse into the bronze however she had more or less taken about as much as she could safely do without risking weakness during a potential assault or simply making herself feel ill- as such she lingered in the Longue. Reaching for her phone, she typed up a simple message to Ciel. Unlike normally she was dressed in more casual clothes, there was no point in her wearing her nun's outfit currently. Frankly a lot of the staff had already begun to return to their homes and go on vacation, while for the world at large it was a blink of an eye for them... Well-- it had been far too long. Ciel would now make her way to the longue. She was currently on the phone. If someone listened carefully, they would hear that she was talking to a UN official. To the average person, it looked like Ciel was doing a cheerful smile and speaking in a respectful tone. But those who knew Ciel would realize it was a threatening smile and the words she was saying were indirect threats and warnings. The blue hair girl would then hang up and turned to face Fee. She would give her fellow executor a smile. Ciel was still wearing her typical nun outfit, she still had a lot of work to do here and was the Churches representative, so she needed to constantly wear her church outfit. "Fee, how are you doing? You were gone for a while and now have been busy in the workshop. Seems like you got something in the works. Hope it's all going well for you." said Ciel as she spoke in an upbeat tone.

"Hey Ciel. Yes, I have been. I do apologize, I have been caught up in the workshop for a few reasons really but for the moment I'm out at least." Theano noted before speaking. "I've done as you suggested and we spoke about before, I've gotten a secondary ace and potentially a third one depending on how things go. Retrieval of Ancile was an ordeal however I'm quite certain you're aware of it already considering the representatives of the Holy Church present. These things do get around." Theano noted before speaking. "Additionally, Lucius had decided to gift to me shards of Florent before departing. That's what I've been working on since. I do apologize for my absence, I've been exsanguinating myself since in order to create a magically porous material capable of carrying trough my prana. It's quite an ordeal. That and a more personal project I don't wish to speak about. Regardless-- that's about it regarding the adventure. I won't get more into it." Theano noted before finally smiling. "How fare matters with the Church and UN? I'm aware you've been quite busy. From the sounds of it the thinly veiled threats are not exactly working out so far."

Ciel would listen as Fee began to explain what she was up to. It seemed she had taken her advice and was working on a second and third trump card. It seemed she was staying with her roots. The last singularity collapsed and their isn't much going on right now aside from boring political stuff. You made the right decision to go out. In fact that is what most of the masters are doing. I can't say I blame them, we have been trapped between Chaldea and singularities, so it's nice to finally be able to step back in the modern day world. As for Lucius, I heard you also brought Ortlinde. Interesting having those two lover birds together, hope they didn't give you any trouble or do anything embarrassing. Though it is interesting, they found love after death." said Ciel as she was one of the people who supported that ship, though she hadn't taken an active action for it. "Their is only so much I can do. Most of my influence resides within the Church. Been pulling a few strings and been doing stuff to slow them down with additional paper work. I have gotten a few members of the Church to support Chaldea, even a Bishop. Though it would be nice if we had some people who were from Atlas to help us out. It wasn't the wisest nor most fair decision of mine however I didn't get to spend much time with them in missions, they were veterans by the time I got woken from Cyro. I played catch-up for a long time yet despite that they both shown me their support. Granted, I knew Lucius better than Ortlinde but I watched them enough to know they were close and I wouldn't wish to separate them in what could be their last moments together." Theano explained before finally taking out a small red crystal and looking into it. "For Ancile, I will use it to defend others. I've already had the chance to tinker a bit with it. It's extremely powerful in it's capability for defence, enough so that I'm fairly confident I could stop an onslaught from the Seventh Holy Scripture with it. Granted, I'd still need to block the attacks however it seems to guide me in the process. It's... Odd. Every time I wield it the shield seems to almost have a mind of it's own. It's a warm feeling though, not a bad one. I wonder if it's to do with the fact Mars gave me his blessing to carry it." She mused, looking up for a bit before continuing. "I've yet to attempt to utilize it's full power however, I do know it can create some kind of barrier though. A powerful one, I've had the chance to see it in action during the fight as well as when channelling my prana trough it." "As for Florent-- I'm turning it into a Spear. The shards could be remade into a blade but I've decided against it. Spears have been used by the amazons for a long time for a reason. Besides- I feel as if it will compliment my fighting style much better than a sword will. Lucius intended for me to make the best use of it as I could, as such I'm using the pommel and the metal shards left after his death to be cast into a new weapon. It's name will be Florentia. It means 'Blossoming' instead of 'Flowering' that his sword bore the name. The Blossoming Spear succeeds the Flowering Sword. Thought it would be good." With that Theano pulled out a small sketch and handed it over to Ciel. It was a weapon design made- mostly technical yet extremely calculated. "Florent's primary function was to provide Lucius with a blessing of protection. I suspect the blessing itself is likely to stay intact despite it's destruction. I'm utilizing my own blood as well as leftover bone dust from the Singularity in order to create new materials for it and allow for my prana to pass trough it effectively, making it a useful tool for potential mana bursts. I suspect with the Sash providing me with additional energy I might be able to utilize it that way- especially since I'm aware Florent was already good at it in the first place."

Ciel would nod her head as Fee spoke. The Burial Agent would listen as her fellow Executor talk about how close Lucius and Ortlinde were before holding out a small red crystal. Ciel knew what it was and represented. She would give a smile, happy to see the symbol. Their wasn't anything she needed to say or add. The blue hair executor would place her hand on her chin as she heard Fee talk about the Ancile. The young Amazon seemed confident in it's abilities. "Perhaps it does have a mind of it's own. Some weapons are actually living creatures. I don't suppose I ever told you, but their is an actual spirit in my Seventh Holy Scripture, only recently have I been able to awaken her again. It may be possible that their is also a spirit in your shield. Though awakening a spirit can be difficult if not possible for some people." said Ciel as she began to think about Nanako. She would probably need to introduce her to Fee one day. Though she wasn't sure if the two would get along. Even Ciel didn't really get along with Nanako. Though her attention would then shift back on the weapon. "You should test it out in the simulation room. Get a good feel for it and master it. You don't want to end up in a real battle and still not know how to properly use it." The topic then switched to the other weapon that Theano had managed to recover. It seemed she was going to turn it into a spear. Ciel would nod her head, agreeing with the idea to do so. She felt such a weapon would work well with Fee. "It seemed you have collected a number of relics that work well together. Though I am curious if you will have enough mana to support them all? Using the Seventh Holy Scripture for example greatly drains my mana levels. Perhaps you will need to decide which relic to use at the time or find a way to increase you mana levels." said Ciel as she knew how taxing such weapons could be, even for someone who mana level where beyond any other human.

A smirk would then appear on Ciel face. "The UN isn't made up of one person, it is an organization, if we kill one or even several of them, they will simply be replaced. As such, their is no point in doing so."

"I actually do have enough mana. My circuits have always been strong however with awakening of my divinity they only grew more potent. The thing that surprised me is the Sash. You see, the Sash doesn't actively drain my mana. It's... Quite the opposite actually. The biggest problem with the Sash isn't it's mana drain, it's the fact that using it is a bit of an odd sensation. How do I describe it..." She paused, thinking before finally clicking her fingers. "My divinity has been awakened trough bonding to the sash on a level closer than any artefact normally wielded. While the Shield is on my person, I can give it away- I cannot say the same for the sash. It's essentially my crest. I keep it on my person but the bond I've forged with it is exceptionally close. I don't enjoy being separated from it, it feels like taking a part of my body away. However when I activate it's full power- the surge of divine energy trough me is sickening. I can feel my body vibrating, every cell within it pulses and burns with immense warmth. It's like a cut- a thousand microscopic cuts. It's oddly pleasant but also extremely painful once I tear that connection away. I never tried to push the duration of my use of the sash longer than necessary, I somewhat fear doing it... I've heard what happens to these born with Oni Blood, I do not know if Divine Blood is the same but I'd rather not test it unless necessary." ". . ." Theano paused finally, closing her eyes before speaking. "To be completely honest with you, I am somewhat worried about overusing these artefacts. I think I can handle them but I do worry that utilizing them for too long will make me something other than myself in a way. I'm not sure if it would be a positive or a negative thing however."

"I see, perhaps I need to get myself some kind of sash as well." said Ciel in a bit of a joking manner. Though the Burial Agent was always willing to add another weapon to ever growing arsenal. If she wanted to compete with the other Burial Agents, Ciel was going to need to find a way to power herself up in a way that Fee had done so. But that was a though for another time. Right now the focus was on Theano. "I don't know much about divinity or how it changes a person. But records of humans going insane with Oni Blood is well documented but I have not heard such things happening with divinity. If I were to guess, it would be more like a burn out or a rejection instead of going insane and attacking your allies. I suggest keeping a journal of how much you use it and how you feel each time. It's possible it may get worse or better over time. You may also wish to talk to servants who were granted divinity but not born with it." said Ciel as she attempted to give Fee some advice. But as she said, she wasn't an expert on this. "Have you not talked to Penthesilea about this? She seemed she would have a good understanding even if she is a demi god. You are family, even if it is distant."

As I mentioned, I bonded with it in a matter similar to a crest. It's essentially a body part for me. I'd likely need to be killed for it to be taken away at this point." Theano noted. "I believe you already have something similar in the form of your idea bloods no? The sash is different, that's for sure but I think they achieve the same result in the end but I might be mistaken. Regardless..." With that Theano sighed. "I'm aware. At the same time you never know. Don't forget the divinity within me either- that of Ares... Mars. God of War. I can already feel the intoxication with battle and warfare, it's very much so in my blood. On one hand it's a good thing, on the other..." Theano weaved a hand trough her hair, looking away. "It can be problematic." "Yes, I do recall Caster. I seen some certain reports regarding you two and frankly, I met both Caster and Archer. Both were insufferable."

Ciel would nod her head at Theano statement of her needing to be killed in order for someone else to claim it. "Yes, at this point, I posses five idea bloods. I manage to get a second copy of the forest idea blood in a previous singularity. I have yet to transform that one into a power I can use. But Idea Blood's come with their drawbacks and they must still perform their basic principle." said Ciel as she thought about her Idea Bloods. "I see. Penthesilea when not talking about a certain hero seems to be very disciplined. She may have some advice on how to deal with that intoxication." said Ciel before she gave a slight glare Fee as she weaved her hand through her hair. It was starting to remind her of one of her rivals, Akiha. "Hmm, I actually got along with his Caster self. Yeah, he has the whole superior complex but get past that and his caster self was a great guy."

"You're right. She is disciplined. As for Idea Bloods... Nothing is done without a cost I think. Regardless, if I find an item that would benefit you I will let you know." Theano teased before speaking up. "Regardless, I was wondering. How does recruitment to Burial Agency work? At this point I feel somewhat confident enough to say that I'll be able to hold my own against most dead apostles. Potentially a Dead Apostle Ancestor should I have backup."

"Burial Agents are very low on numbers. Their is no standard procedure for it. If I declare someone to be my partner, then it becomes official. Oh sure, their is some paper work and stuff that needs to happen. After that, it all comes down to how I and Narbareck wants to train you."

"I see. I've decided to join the Burial Agency after consideration. I think being your partner in the agency could be interesting. Besides, I've had the chance to investigate other branches. My methods would likely not fit them... Truthfully--" With that Theano sighed quietly. "I've already noticed the clear worry in my presence from some members of the church."

"Understood, then welcome to the Burial Agency. I will get the paper work sent." said Ciel as she then offered her hand to Fee. She would need to clear a few things out but it wouldn't be too difficult. She was happy she could work with Fee.

Extending a hand to shake Ciel's, Theano smiled a little before tilting her head. "Thank you, Ciel. Together we will make quite a team huh? You rain down hell on them, I will keep you safe."

Ciel would shake Fee hand. "I look forward to it. Hopefully, you don't come to regret your decision."

"Would you say I would? That's a honest question. If you think I'm making a mistake I'll find something else to do."

"Narbareck can be a bit of pain to work for."

"I've figured based on what you've told me. Still, my question stands."

"The pros outweigh the cons. I would join if I was you."

"Then I will do as I planned to and join." Theano chuckled. "I can deal with annoying bosses, you've met our wonderful director haven't you? Playfulness aside, I'm aware of what to expect from Narbareck, granted I do wonder what she'd have in store for me."

"Olga is an Angle compared to Narbareck. As for what she has in store for you, probably impossible missions." said Ciel as she spoke in a serious tone.

"I've had a fair share of these really. Still, once I'm done with my weapon I think I'll be able to handle them." Theano noted. "Luckily, with the blessing, the sash and the shield... I sincerely doubt much harm will be able to reach me easily."

"Thanks. Oh, right. Since I might not get a chance to see you before heading to Greece." With that Theano reached into her bag, after a little bit of digging-- she took out a moderately-sized box. "Here, a collection of some of the best and honestly rather hard to get spices normally. I was planning to give it to you earlier but it took a long while to arrive, custom order and whatnot. It's a form of thanks for everything you've done for me. I've also included some of my own ghost pepper extract." Theano smiled, tilting her head to the side before chuckling. "They're potent so they should last a while."

A smile would appear on Ciel face as she looked at the the spices. She was a big fan of spicy food and mixing it in with Curry, so this was the perfect gift. "Thank you Fee. This means a lot to me. Though, I kind of feel bad, cause I didn't get you anything."

"Don't. You've given me plenty of advice and helped me train. It's a bigger gift than what I gave you in the first place. Besides--" With that Theano laughed a bit. "I've managed to figure out your curry recipe."

"Oh, which one did you figure out?" asked Ciel as she raised an eyebrow. As she had countless curry recipes.

"The extremely spicy one you made last week. I spied on you."

"Oh that one. You didn't need to spy. If you wanted the recipe I would have given it to you."

"I preferred to see if I could steal it for myself. I too can get bored you know?"

"Oh my, spying on me when I am bored. I might have to discipline you when we see each other again." said Ciel in a slightly teasing tone. But underneath the teasing was a hint of approval.

"Good luck with that." She remarked with a smirk. "I have to stay sharp. Besides, even if I've become much more apt at direct combat I do not intend to forget my roots easily. Stealth is a good tool to possess after all."
